Zach Johnson (He/Him)
Registered Marriage and Family Therapy Intern (RMFTI)
You’re not alone. Everyone needs help sometimes. Life can be really hard. Whatever you’re struggling with though, just come. Show up however you can and see what happens. I won’t judge. I’m human too. I have my own difficulties and weaknesses to work on. I’ve been stuck in all kinds of repetitive, damaging, and monotonous stages in my life. I’ve been very blessed over the years to receive so much help from very caring people. They helped me to get to where I am and now I’m grateful for the privilege to be in a position to offer that to others. I know the transformative power of an open, non-judgmental, caring, honest friend and that’s what I try to embody in the room with the people I work with. I’ll do everything I can to help you feel safe and comfortable so you’re able to share your story with me and we’ll explore it together. I don’t know everything, but I can help you dig out of whatever you’re stuck in.
Sometimes we just need someone we trust to challenge us to tune into ourselves and learn how to manage life’s challenges in new ways. I believe we all have the talents, strengths, and abilities that we need to navigate our lives. We’ve lost touch with some, we don’t recognize others, and there are many that we’ve yet to discover. This is why I see therapy as a discovery process and primarily work from a narrative perspective.
I love helping anyone who wants to grow, but I especially enjoy working with couples, families, adolescents, and young adults. I have personal experience with addiction, ADHD, marriage, and parenting, and love to navigate these issues. I offer free consultations, so call me and let’s see if we’re a fit!
